Flo is a Clinical Psychologist from the Netherlands. She obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Psychology and has also completed a two-year Extended Health Care Psychologist Certificate. She has a rich experience of working in multiple settings, including private practice, in the Netherlands. Flo is registered in the Netherlands National Register of Professionals in Individual Health Care.

Flo works with adolescents and adults from the age of approximately 18 years and upwards. Flo also does couple therapy and has extensive experience with a wide variety of psychological problems such as stress-related symptoms, depressive feelings, anxiety, burnout, behavioural problems, grief and anger management.

The therapy methods that she uses are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy, Supporting and Structuring Therapy, and Online Therapy. She also uses the Enneagram for issues around self-development, creating awareness at a deeper level and getting in contact with your true self.

Flo also conducts diagnostic assessments (personality, intelligence and behavioural problems). With personality testing, she is able to help people gain insight and make sense of certain issues that they have been struggling with, so as to help with further treatment.

Flo’s aim is to help people develop healthier coping skills and work towards more vitality. She quickly builds a good working relationship and is transparent in her interactions with people. She has a holistic approach and also takes the transdiagnostic factors into account.
