She has also completed a two-year certificate in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) from New York. Francesca is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) - Level I & II.
Francesca has over 8 years of experience and offers psychotherapy in English and Italian to adolescents and adults. She works on a wide range of psychological issues, providing support and treatment for anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, anger management, emotional regulation, relational problems, stress-related issues, lack of self-esteem, confidence, and lastly personality disorders.
Francesca’s work is based on helping her clients understand the relationship between thoughts, emotions and behaviours, facilitating a better comprehension of themselves. This helps them to change the way they feel about and deal with others and the wider world. She also works on clients' awareness of their mental functioning by understanding the core theme of their suffering and the vicious circles that maintain it. This allows achievement of the therapeutic goals from a long term perspective.
Francesca truly believes in a genuine relationship of trust as a base of better and more helpful work with the client.
