Jenny is a compassionate counselling psychologist with a strong cultural awareness. She possesses a Master's Degree in Psychology and an additional Master's Degree in Counselling. With over two decades of dedicated experience, she has worked extensively with individuals dealing with various mental health challenges, including psychotic disorders, grief, anxiety, depression, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), primarily within restructured hospitals in Singapore. Additionally, she has been involved in working with at-risk youth. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Jenny was honoured with the National Awards of Efficiency Medal by the Ministry of Health of Singapore in 2022.

Jenny firmly holds the belief that each individual is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all therapeutic approach for addressing mental health concerns. She adopts an integrative and holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the diversity of problems and issues. In her practice, Jenny employs evidence-based treatments and methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Trauma System Therapy (TST). During her sessions, she primarily focuses on a client-centered approach.

Jenny believes that well-established therapeutic interventions, based on a comprehensive case formulation, not only address the specific problems and issues clients bring to therapy but also empower them to develop essential life skills for effectively managing these challenges in their daily lives.

Jenny is committed to providing compassionate, non-judgmental, and professional care. Her mission is to assist adults, couples, and young individuals in exploring the triggers of their problems and challenges. She works collaboratively with them to develop effective interventions and coping strategies, thereby enhancing their emotional and psychological well-being while strengthening their mental health.

Jenny speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
