Jinju is a counsellor fluent in both Korean and English, with a passion for supporting families, parents, children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. Jinju has 5 years of experience working in schools in Australia, China, and Singapore. She has supported individuals dealing with a range of issues, including self-harm, anxiety, grief, and learning difficulties. She thrives in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth.

She applies an integrative approach including Attachment Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Jinju has a special interest in applying art therapy skills to facilitate communication and emotional expression in individuals. Jinju discovered her love for counselling in Australia, where she provided trauma-informed therapy to children affected by domestic violence, forced immigration, and refugee experiences. Her work in these areas has equipped her with a profound understanding of the complexities the individuals face.

Growing up in various countries has provided her with a unique perspective on navigating multiple cultural identities, enhancing her ability to empathise with individuals grappling with cultural adaptation, identity formation, and the search for belonging.
