Merrill is a trained therapist who offers a safe space for deep empathy, reflection, and self-discovery. He adopts a holistic approach to psychology and is deeply interested in the body and mind’s health and well-being. Merrill has over fifteen years of experience in academic and clinical work in psychology and counselling.

Merrill is trained in NOVA (National Organization for Victim Assistance) to provide trauma mitigation, education and emotional first-aid to the community in the aftermath of critical incidents. Merrill is an experienced therapist who keeps up with international psychodynamic bodies, the latest research, and clinical training. He has read interpersonal psychotherapy at the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis, and Psychology.

Merrill’s research interests are in the integration of Western and Eastern psychologies. Merrill studied Ayurvedic Counselling at the Kerala Ayurveda Wellness Centre in the United States and is an Emotional Clearing Facilitator, a powerful technique for reprogramming negative emotional patterns. He has also trained in clinical hypnotherapy with the London College of Clinical Hypnotherapy and employs expressive therapy.

Merrill is an inclusive Mental Health Practitioner and supports members of ethnic and sexual minorities, mixed-race and mixed-faith families and relationships, third-culture kids (TCK), and third-culture individuals (TCI). He also works with clients with complicated family upbringings and those yearning for a more profound and meaningful life. Merrill believes that the seeds of greatness are planted in the depths of our being, and with the proper nurture and time, they will bear fulfilment.
