Renee brings over 20 years of international experience having worked in the US, China, Dubai, Singapore, and the UK, in various settings including leading international schools.
Renee holds degrees and diplomas from Universities in Australia and England.
She has experience with all ages and provides support to families, parents, mothers (pre & post-natal), children, adolescents and adults. She applies her experience and training in family focused therapy, acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, post-natal depression, talk therapy, play based therapy, and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) to mention a few.
Renee has a special interest in supporting the mental health and wellness of new and expectant parents. With her extensive experience from her past profession as newborn nanny specialist, Renee has an in-depth understanding of pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into parenthood. She has supported families and parents of newborns, assisting with the experience of a new baby in the home environment, as well as parents of children under 18 who were struggling with the demands of parenthood regarding a variety of needs.
She has also worked with families of varying cultural backgrounds and has supported single parents, divorcees, as well as those going through separation.
For the last 9 years Renee has worked in international schools in Singapore where she has supported a variety of needs including self-harm, suicidal ideation, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, grief and bereavement, mental health issues, and children and adolescents with learning differences from Kindergarten to Senior School age.
Renee strongly believes in non-judgmental, clear communication where adapting to the individual’s needs is best and so when this is combined with her passion for therapy, she is able to develop a quick rapport with those she supports.
