Shreya is extensively trained in psychotherapy holding a Master in Clinical Psychology and Master of Philosophy in Clinical and Counselling Practices. For the last few years, she has experience working in different settings like NGOs, hospitals, schools, and private practices. She currently runs her own private practice supporting clients with various issues.

She is equally comfortable working with parents, adults, and adolescents both in individual and group settings. She has a special interest in working with Trauma. She is trained in many different modalities to work through issues like stress, anxiety, depression, conflict management, behavioral management, burnout, self-harm, relationships, interpersonal issues, parenting, and transition. Shreya uses an integrative approach that is trauma-informed, and solution-focused. She is trained in Narrative therapy, Solution Focus (FS), Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), and analytical schools of psychology with an emphasis on Mind-Body Connection and Mindfulness.

Shreya’s work involves creating a collaborative space with clients where they can feel heard and empowered. She wishes to maximize their potential for developing a rich meaningful life through mindful-values-based living. She helps her clients navigate life circumstances, manage their mental health challenges, and aid psychological growth by utilizing their strengths and increasing their resources. She has volunteered many long hours in various NGOs conducting group therapeutic sessions, workshops, and seminars. This has helped her gain multi-cultural exposure developing deep empathy for individuals from different walks of life.

Further, being raised in a defense background, she has traveled extensively developing sensitivity towards different cultures. Her varied experiences help her understand diversity from a different dimension.
