Vinti is an Australian trained experienced therapist who uses a holistic approach while working with her clients. She is a Clinical Member and a Registered Counsellor of Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC). Vinti has over eleven years of experience in working with people of all ages providing support in many clinical settings like voluntary organizations, private practices, schools, universities, before taking on the role of director of SACAC Counselling. Vinti manages the practice while also working with her clients. She is a supervisor supporting upcoming therapists in the field of counselling.

She provides a non-judgmental safe space for adults, couples, kids and families to improve their emotional health and well being. She is passionate about helping women and mothers with their everyday life challenges and has special interest in helping professionals working in finance and technology in the corporate and entrepreneurial space. She has a holistic approach focusing on the 5 components of well being (Social, Emotional, Spiritual, Financial and Academic) to improve emotional health. She supports clients on a broad range of issues including depression, traumas, eat disorders, grief, adjustments, substance and behavioural addictions, parenting, and relationships. Vinti’s therapeutic approach is integrative and person centered, drawing on evidence based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Theory (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Expressive Therapies (Art & Sand), Mindfulness, MCBT, Gottman’s Couples Method (level 1 & 2) to meet her clients' individual needs. She is a Certified Sand Therapist and Expressive Therapy practitioner. She has recently trained in new age modality Image Transformation Therapy( ImTT) which helps release Pain, Fear, Guilt and/or shame of trauma and other experiences without the person needing to intensely experience the blocked feelings.

In addition to her education and work experience in counselling, Vinti also holds a Bachelors in Computer Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application. She worked in the technology space in senior positions for a few years before moving into the field of supporting others. Having worked in a corporate and startup setting, enables her to understand issues with work-life balance, performance, work dynamics, support leadership development, goal setting and other challenges.

Being a third culture kid herself and an expat for the last 20 years, Vinti understands the challenges around the expat lifestyles and transitions for her clients. Her multicultural background along with many years of experience in working with different issues, as a therapist gives her the ability to understand and empathize with clients of different nationalities, backgrounds, and cultures, whilst retaining the objectives of the therapy.

Over the years Vinti has been an active contributor of articles for several parenting magazines, national newspapers, and online magazines on various topics.
